My 10 Must-Attend Climate Events in Europe in 2025 🇪🇺

Every year, my inbox gets flooded with invites to climate and sustainability events.
I’m sure yours too.
Most of them? A complete waste of time.
But after years in the space, I’ve learned to separate the signal from the noise. These are my personal favorites—the ones worth your time, energy, and budget.
Oh, and zero affiliation with any of these. Just trying to be helpful so you can plan your year wisely.
That said, I won’t be hopping from city to city all year. I’ll personally prioritize 2-3 max—travel burns time, and time is better spent actually building, investing, and keeping a solid routine.
Now, here’s my climate conference shortlist for 2025 👇
1. Hello Tomorrow (Paris, France)
📅 When: March 13-14
One of the best deep tech and science-based climate innovation events.
2. ChangeNOW (Paris, France)
📅 When: Apr 24-26
Huge, inspiring, and packed with startups, investors, and corporate players. If you want to network, pitch, or just soak up what’s next, this is a solid pick. Bonus: Held at the foot of the Eiffel Tower.
3. Hack Summit (Lausanne, Switzerland) ⭐️
📅 When: May 15-16
One of the most tech-forward climate events, with great climate family vibes. Awesome venue and unique spot on the border of Lac Léman 🐟🏔
4. Katapult Future Fest (Oslo, Norway)
📅 When: May 21-23
Since 2017, KFF has been a core gathering for impact investors, change-makers, and entrepreneurs focused on social, cultural, and systemic change. A strong "doers, not talkers" vibe.
5. Super Climate Berlin (Berlin, Germany) ⭐️
📅 When: June 3
This has grown into THE side event for climate tech investors. Many LPs attend as it happens during SuperVenture (Germany’s biggest LP-GP conference). Exclusive event—you’ll likely need to be a GP/Partner to get an invite.
6. Unplug (Italy) ⭐️
📅 When: June 18-21
Want to skip conference rooms and hike the Dolomites with 50-60 climate founders & investors? This is the retreat-style event for serious climate players. Highly recommend.
7. The Drop (Malmö, Sweden)
📅 When: Sep 15-17
One of the best community-driven climate events. It always feels like a big family reunion—great people, real conversations, and no corporate fluff.
8. SOSV Climate Tech Summit (Global – Online)
📅 When: Oct 14-18
No need to travel. This online event brings together top climate investors and startups worldwide. A must-attend for keeping a pulse on what's happening across the U.S., Europe, and beyond.
9. Slush (Helsinki, Finland)
📅 When: Nov 19-20
It feels like going to an underground club with beats, spotlights, and neon lights all over the place. The main objective is to attend the countless side events - that’s where you’ll build quality connections. It requires signing up ahead of time, so get on it!
10. COP30 – UN Climate Change Conference (Belém, Brazil)
📅 When: Nov 10-21
Just kidding, scratch that one 🛑🙈
Politicians will talk a lot. The global climate agenda will get (extremely slowly) shaped or even slowed down.
Not a place to do short-term business.
